Welcome to Shine Leadership International

"Shine Leadership International was founded from a deep passion to see young people and women discover their true potential and become empowered to thrive in life and the world of work."

Across Africa today, many young people continue to face challenges such as unemployment, hopelessness, lack of direction, limited mentorship, low confidence, social pressure, and inadequate practical skills despite formal education. Many possess incredible talents, ideas, and abilities, yet they often lack the self awareness, guidance, opportunities, and support systems needed to fully maximize their potential and positively transform their lives and communities.

This vision is deeply personal to me. As a young person, I often had questions about life, growth, purpose, and the future, but I did not always have mentors or safe spaces where I could seek guidance and support. Like many young people, I had to navigate life through mistakes, resilience, self discovery, and continuous learning. Those experiences shaped my conviction that no young person should have to journey through life alone.

At Shine Leadership International, we believe that when young people are equipped with the right mindset, practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities, they can become confident, employable, entrepreneurial, financially literate, ethical, and socially responsible contributors to society. Our mission goes beyond training. We are building a platform where young people can discover who they truly are, unlock their potential, develop character and leadership capacity, and gain the tools they need to thrive in an ever changing world.

Since our establishment in 2019, we have remained committed to transforming lives through mentorship, leadership development, work readiness training, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and holistic youth empowerment initiatives. We continue to work alongside schools, universities, communities, mentors, development partners, institutions, and stakeholders who share our belief in the immense potential of Africa's young people.

The Story
Behind SLI

Shine Leadership International was founded out of a deep passion to address the growing challenges affecting young people across Africa, particularly unemployment, lack of direction, limited mentorship, low confidence, and inadequate preparation for the realities of life and work.

Grace Mentoring and Advisory Center

The journey began through a mentorship initiative created to provide guidance, mentorship, and personal development support to young people navigating life, education, career, and personal growth challenges.

A Personal Calling
Shaped By Lived Experience

This vision was deeply shaped by the founder's own journey growing up with many questions about life, purpose, career, and growth, yet limited access to mentors or safe spaces for guidance and support.
